Program: M.Sc. Developmental Counselling and Mental Wellbeing

This program addresses the urgent need for mental health support by training students in developmental counselling and holistic well-being. By establishing a strong theoretical foundation in human development across the lifespan, the curriculum ensures students understand various life-stage concerns.

The core of the program emphasizes practical application, preparing students to implement counselling strategies within family, educational, and social environments. Ultimately, the training focuses on a vital mission: equipping individuals with the tools to manage stress and sustain mental health at every stage of life.

Duration: 2 years (4 semesters) Full time
Total number of seats: 20

Eligibility :

  • B.Sc. Human Development, B.A. Psychology, B.Sc. Sociology (with specialization in social work) or PG in counselling and allied discipline, with a minimum aggregate of 55%marks.
  •  Students should have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in the undergraduate degree from a UGC recognized University.

Procedure for Admission

Students have to appear for an Entrance Test, and selected candidates will appear for the Interview.
