The fourth day of the five-day training program on ‘Designing a Research Canvas – From Purpose to Plan’ organized by the Research Cell at Sir Vithaldas Thackersey College of Home Science (Empowered Autonomous Status) in collaboration with SVT-IQAC and Kasturba Health Society – Medical Research Centre commenced with Dr. Armaiti Shukla, Head of Department, Textiles and Apparel Designing at SVT College of Home Science addressing the attendees and introducing the speaker of the day, Dr. Chanda Gokhale, an eminent academician and researcher.
The topic for the session scheduled on Monday, 12th October, 2020 was ‘Writing a Research Proposal- Part 1’. Dr Gokhale discussed the components of writing an effective research proposal and answered questions posed by the attendees in an interactive Q and A session.
The session was followed by Ms Chetna Raje, Associate Professor and Head of Department of Interior Design and Resource Management proposing the vote of thanks to the speaker.
