Pursuing my degree at SVT College with Early Childhood Care and Education as majors has helped me mould my personal and professional profiles. The three years of under graduation transformed me from being an introvert to an extrovert person as it boosted my self confidence and leadership qualities to a larger extent.   Presentations, lectures by experts, seminars and intensive field work empowered me with in depth knowledge of child development which strengthened my theoretical & practical learning experiences.

Being a part of the "Human Development" Department was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. More than just earning a degree, it was a life changing experience.    The best part of the program is the intensive field work during the third year which serves as a precursor to the professional world. This experience helped a smooth transition into my career.     Moreover, as a person, I have grown to be a confident and independent person to an extent I never imagined, all because of the constant motivation and encouragement by the teachers.

I am proud to be an alumna of SVT College of Home Science. It is here, in this very college that I realized my passion for studyingHuman Development. I was made ambitious by the mere environment of the college. Our professors motivated us throughout and played a massive role in the development of our personality. SVT was not just brilliant academics, but an amalgamation of fun, learning, practice, hard work and enjoyment. The various internships gave me a comprehensive real life insight and helped me in understanding the application of theoretical concepts into practical. Be it the regular theory lectures or practical sessions, I found myself amidst an intellectually stimulating environment that helped me develop and grow as an individual. Thus, I can say that SVT has been a nest from where I was nurtured and encouraged to spread my wings to fly and achieve my dreams.
