IQAC of Sir Vithaldas Thackersey College of Home Science (Empowered Autonomous Status) in collaboration with Raah Foundation celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2021 by organising a Webinar and a series of competitions for students of schools and colleges. The title of the event was ‘There is no planet B : An Ecosystem Restoration Initiative’
The activity was designed to motivate the younger generation who are the potential Eco Warriors. They were encouraged to speak about ecosystem degradation and present real time solutions to some of the challenges faced by the globe.
