Sports and games are necessary for an individual’s overall growth and development. It helps us in our lives and plays an important part in our daily routine. They are extremely helpful in keeping our bodies healthy and strong. Sports activities and games also help relax our minds.

Learning sports and different activities is a great way of learning new things in our lives. Not only does it teach us a lot but also helps build our confidence. They are a great way of developing our personality and learning mental and physical balance.

Teamwork is a huge part of any sport or game. Such activities help you sharpen your teamwork skills and teach you how to develop a proper work relationship and coordination with your team members. Sports and games have many advantages when it comes to your physical and mental health as well. It plays a very important role in shaping your body and helping your mind get rid of laziness and fatigue. It helps you stay active throughout the day.

In every education system today, they have made sports and games an extremely important part of their daily lives. They encourage students to take part in sports competitions and activities because it imparts a great sense of learning in the students as well. Some children also decide to choose their career and life path in the sports category by becoming a professional sportsperson.

To facilitate this, the Sports committee.

  • Provides regular coaching for various Sports activities like Taekwondo, Badminton, Yoga, Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Chess, etc.
  • Organizes Intra Collegiate Sports Competitions (Annual Sports Day and other Intra Collegiate games)
  • Hosts and participates in various Inter – Collegiate and Inter University Sports Tournament in collaboration with Department of Physical Education, S.N.D.T. Women’s University
  • Organises workshops on Yoga awareness for healthy living.
  • Encourages students to participate in Inter-Collegiate Competitions wherein they are selected and trained to play at University, State and National level.
