The second day of the five-day training program on ‘Designing a Research Canvas – From Purpose to Plan’ organized by the Research Cell at Sir Vithaldas Thackersey College of Home Science (Empowered Autonomous Status) in collaboration with SVT-IQAC and Kasturba Health Society – Medical Research Centre commenced with Dr. Madhuri Nigudkar, Head of Department, Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics, SVT College of Home Science addressing the attendees and introducing the speaker of the day: Dr. Neha Rathi, Postdoctoral Fellow, IIT, Mumbai.
The topic for the session scheduled on Friday, 9th October, 2020 was ‘Practices and Pitfalls of Designing a Questionnaire’. Dr Rathi discussed the steps in developing and validating a questionnaire for research and provided several examples of good vs bad questionnaire designs.
The session was followed by an interactive question answer session and vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Sangeeta Chhowala, Head of Department, English, SVT College of Home Science.
