The Research Cell at Sir Vithaldas Thackersey College of Home Science (Empowered Autonomous Status) is organizing a five-day training program on ‘Designing a Research Canvas – From Purpose to Plan’ in collaboration with SVT-IQAC and Kasturba Health Society – Medical Research Centre from 8th to 13th October 2020.
The first day’s (8th October 2020) program began with a welcome address by Dr. Jagmeet Madan, Principal, SVT College of Home Science. Ms. Manjiri Bhalerao, Vice-Principal, SVT College of Home Science introduced the speaker of the day: Dr. Shobha Udipi, Honorary Director, Integrative Nutrition and Ayurceuticals, MRC- KHS.
The topic ‘Ethics Approval – Process and Protocol’ was well explained by Dr. Shobha Udipi. Dr. Udipi’s presentation was followed by a lively question answer session moderated by Ms Panchali Moitra, the workshop coordinator. The program was informative and very well received.
The first day’s program ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Rekha Battalwar, Controller of Examinations, SVT College of Home Science.
