The student council, an active body of the college, supports IQAC in organizing activities such as Student Induction Programs, freshers’ and farewell parties, founders day, There is no planet B,etc. It supports departments and faculty in different capacities when workshops, seminars and conferences are organized.
- The council has planned the annual college fest, “Splash” which is a platform for students to showcase their talents and skills. Various competitions such as debates, elocutions, literary arts and theater among others are organized as part of the fest.
- The council had also organized a teacher’s day program especially to recognize the contribution of the teachers in their development.
Representation in Administrative bodies:
- The student council as per the UGC mandate has its representation on committees such as Grievance Cell, Anti-Ragging Committee, and Internal Complaints Committee.
- They are members ofAcademic Council and Governing Body, Entrepreneurship, Incubation and Placement (EIP) Cell, Incubation and Innovation Cell and MIS Cell,
- Council has shown incredible excellence in taking up responsibilities including maintenance of discipline and setting up different academic and cultural programs.
