Sir Vithaldas Thackersey College of Home Science was truly a second 'home' for me. Not only has it imparted knowledge but also, it has played a major role in the development of my personality. The new curriculum that had been utilized from my batch onward was a good change because it was a perfect integration of the various faculties. However, it also stressed heavily on our own specialization. The faculty of the Department of Resource  Management that I have spent three years of my life with were very welcoming and knew how to strike a balance between empathy and sternness. We were given plenty opportunities to organize varied events like Nirmiti which brought the entire department together and was an excellent way to enhance my management skills.  Thank you for some of the best years of my life.

I would like to place my appreciation for the quality of education provided to me during my Bachelors in Interior Design and Resource Management in SVT College of Home Science. The course of study along with practical exposure to market surveys and opportunities to exhibit our work during annual design exhibitions hosted by our college, laid a strong foundation of knowledge in materials, concepts, design and execution. The campus, infrastructure and faculty provided a wholesome and creative environment that helped me grow as a designer. I specially want to thank the dedicated and distinguished professors like Mrs. Chetna Raje and Mrs. Hemani Malhotra for their constant guidance and support throughout and after my graduation.

The three years at SVT College of Home Science have been excellent and a memory to cherish for a lifetime. The years spent here have been full of learning opportunities that were full of fun and frolic and sometimes with academic grind that one has to go through. The academic exposure prepares us to face the challenges of the outside world. The coursework has helped me and prepared a sound base for my Post Graduation studies. The faculty is very helpful and supportive and always there for us. It felt like a home away from home with lots of students and friendly teaching and non teaching staff members.
